Jet Noise
At SilentAero, we have successfully managed the effects of Jet Installation Noise caused by low-frequency amplification, through several innovations that have emerged as key contributors to our successful projects.

We have successfully achieved a reduction in jet noise levels by treating the edge of the installed surfaces with serrations. Alternatively, we have observed similar results by incorporating porous materials, acoustic liners, and Meta-materials for the airfoil modification, emphasizing the implementation of passive noise control strategies. This strategy utilizes passive control of airfoil self-noise, achieving reduction without additional energy expenditure through strategic surface treatments.

We have the facilities to test high-speed jets that have been tested for a velocity ranging from Mach 0.3 to Mach 1.4. Also, we have the capacity to test different jet nozzle sizes. By testing and analyzing various treatment designs, we delve into the intricate mechanism of noise reduction scattered at the airfoil trailing edge, particularly addressing its interaction with turbulence.
